Question: How did you decide to embark on this path shaped by plants, nature and music?
The decision made us. In other words, when in our lives we left the authority to shape our lives to life itself, then the flow pulled us in that direction. We do not say power, we say authority, because the power is always in life itself, not in us. When a person takes his expectations of life from where he sees himself and from definite and clear goals, and pays attention to his lifestyle and what he wants to do, then what he wants comes to him in a different way. In this way, intent works, compulsion blocks one's way. In short, we let go of where we saw ourselves and focused on where life was taking us and what we wanted in that moment.
There are some turning points in our lives that give us a change of direction, most of which are the experiences we have accumulated in travels to different parts of the world. A trip to Africa took us away from the city and career focus, a trip to South America introduced us to the healing power of nature, and a trip to India motivated us to live in nature and produce from nature. We have arrived today.
Question: What is on your agenda right now, what are you doing?
Recently, we have been involved in a joint project with the local government, women's production cooperative in Sinding district of Balkier, as a voluntary participant in promotion and production strategies, and as a local producer in production. This project is a Natural Root Dye Production and Innovation center, its focus is on dye plants, obtaining dye from plants and textile production. In addition, there are sub-headings such as natural dye as a building material and natural dye as a food dye. Natural dyes and textiles, and of course plants, excite us very much. We come together with instructors, designers and manufacturers who are competent in this subject, and an instructive process develops. It is an area that we do not know much about but has a future, we hope we can do good things together with you. Aromatherapy and natural cosmetics production continues. Our focus is on recently legalized cannabis products. We are in the process of creating a new brand with another formation in this regard. We believe in hemp. In the field of sustainable textiles, which is connected not only to herbal medicine and cosmetics, but also to building materials and natural dyes…
Apart from that, we continue with small events. In these events, we have activities such as bringing together the world of aromatic and medicinal plants and the field of therapy by combining plants, bodily practices, meditation, aromatherapy and different therapy methods.
Question: What are your dreams for the future for yourself and the world?
We have a lot of dreams. If we start with the world, we imagine a life in which ecological agriculture, regenerative livestock and rural development improve, young people's interest in the countryside increases, and smaller communities are clustered in an interconnected network in settlements that are compatible with nature. It is a production-oriented environment where it is supported by a non-waste lifestyle, zero waste compatible local governments, and creative NGOs. The faster we respond to the needs of our living space and the more we adapt, the better for all of us, otherwise the current fires, natural disasters, and exponential epidemics will remain on our agenda. And all these are the realities of the coming times that need to be adapted again.
Changes inside are just as important as changes outside. In recent years, we have observed that people increasingly attach more importance to their inner world, beliefs and rituals, and try to recognize their emotional world and heal their traumas. This is also a good development. For us personally, certain practices and awareness come first. Our biggest dream for ourselves is to increase our awareness and faithfully advance our daily practices. Carrying spiritual development in our daily actions, celebrating every moment with awareness, is our priority in this direction.
Question: Are there any secrets that fascinate you from your discoveries in nature that you would like to convey to us?
While walking around the forest or hills, sometimes you feel lightheaded and faint. Those are the moments that are especially precious. If you leave yourself alone, sometimes you feel the nature passing through you. What you feel is a little bit of the earth, the planets, the galaxy, the endless rotation of everything, the spiral energy, the vibration.
Sometimes when you focus and look, you feel that basically what is happening is the same movement, that the essence is one. Focusing enough on this essence allows you to take the knowledge, the source of the action directly from nature. Thank you for such moments.
The movement of trees with the wind, the cyclical movement of plants as they grow from the soil, each is a separate harmony. There are times of integration when we hear the symphony of this harmony, albeit very rarely. Thank you for these times.
We go into the water without saying summer and winter. We sometimes enter the cold water flowing through the mountains and hills, the crystal blue water in the bays at the end of Karaburun in winter, and sometimes the hot thermal water. Water takes away the trouble, distress and worry in a person. They renew people. You feel like you are on another planet in another physical space, water. It's like nature embracing you, water wrapping you all over you. Thank you for the water.
Question: You are involved in the events and you are designing some of them, can you tell us a little about what they are and where is it going?
Our dream of holding an event has continued since the beginning. In the beginning, we held activities that progressed in a mutual process that we wanted to share our own life and production experiences and learn from those who came. Events stopped for a while. Now we have activities going in different directions. An indispensable topic is plants and what we share with plants. In this regard, we continue to share our efforts from cultivating to processing, transforming the plant into medicine, tincture, drug and different forms.
Question: Is there any news, announcement or suggestion you want to share?
One of the things we want to share is that if things go the way we want in the near future, we want to establish a platform where we will cooperate with designers in the field of sustainable fashion and boutique manufacturers working with natural dyes. For this, we are open to all kinds of offers and communication from those who work in this field and add effort and beauty. Maybe we also have a beautiful dream of organizing a festival together.
Apart from that, we attach importance to communication and togetherness. We can add that we are always open to ideas and requests such as cooperation, joint design, production, workshop, event, festival, and we are waiting for other manufacturers who want to communicate with us about these issues. .
